वाचके परितुष्टे तु शुभा प्रीतिरनुत्तमा । ब्राह्मणेषु तु तुष्टेषु प्रसन्ना: सर्वदेवता:
vācake parituṣṭe tu śubhā prītir anuttamā | brāhmaṇeṣu tu tuṣṭeṣu prasannāḥ sarvadevatāḥ ||
Vaiśampāyana berkata: “Apabila penyampai kisah suci itu berpuas hati, timbullah kegembiraan dan kasih sayang yang tiada bandingan lagi, lagi membawa berkat. Dan apabila para brāhmaṇa berkenan, maka segenap para dewa pun menjadi reda dan berkenan terhadap si pendengar.”
