इदं तृतीयं भ्रातृणामर्थ यत्‌ स्थातुमिच्छसि । विशुद्धोईसि महाभाग सुखी विगतकल्मष:

Transliteration

idaṁ tṛtīyaṁ bhrātṝṇām artha yat sthātum icchasi | viśuddho 'si mahābhāga sukhī vigata-kalmaṣaḥ ||

Translation

Vaiśampāyana berkata: “Inilah ujian ketiga berkenaan kebajikan saudara-saudaramu. Oleh sebab engkau ingin tetap tinggal (bahkan di neraka) demi mereka, tanpa menghiraukan kesenanganmu sendiri, wahai yang amat beruntung, engkau telah terbukti suci. Tiada noda dosa padamu; maka tenangkanlah hati dan nikmatilah kebahagiaan.”
