Indra and Dharma’s Consolation; Celestial Gaṅgā Purification
न च मन्युस्त्वया कार्य: शृणु चेद॑ वचो मम | अवश्यं नरकस्तात द्रष्टव्य: सर्वराजभि:
na ca manyus tvayā kāryaḥ śṛṇu ced vaco mama | avaśyaṃ narakas tāta draṣṭavyaḥ sarvarājabhiḥ ||
Vaiśampāyana berkata: “Janganlah engkau dikuasai amarah kerana hal ini. Dengarlah kata-kataku: wahai anakku, semua raja pasti harus menyaksikan neraka.”
