Svargārohaṇa-parva Adhyāya 2 — Yudhiṣṭhira’s Inquiry for His Kin and the Vision of a Punitive Realm

देवा ऊचु यदि वै तत्र ते श्रद्धा गम्यतां पुत्र मा चिरम्‌ । प्रिये हि तव वर्तामो देवराजस्य शासनात्‌

devā ūcuḥ yadi vai tatra te śraddhā gamyatāṃ putra mā ciram | priye hi tava vartāmo devarājasya śāsanāt ||

Para dewa berkata: “Wahai anak yang dikasihi, jika benar keyakinanmu tertumpu kepada mereka di sana, maka marilah—jangan berlengah. Kerana kami bertindak demi apa yang menyenangkanmu, menurut titah Raja para dewa.”
