Discourse on Wealth and Royal Duty
धर्म संहरते तस्य धनं हरति यस्य सः । हियमाणे धने राजन् वयं कस्य क्षमेमहि
dharmaṁ saṁharate tasya dhanaṁ harati yasya saḥ | hīyamāṇe dhane rājan vayaṁ kasya kṣamemahi |
Arjuna berkata: “Sesiapa yang merampas harta seseorang turut memusnahkan dharma orang itu; kerana kehidupan dan kelakuan benar disokong oleh kemampuan sendiri. Wahai Raja, jika harta kami sedang dirampas, siapakah yang dapat kami maafkan—dan bagaimana mungkin kami diminta memaafkan?”
