Daṇḍanīti and the King as the Cause of Yuga-Order (दण्डनीतिः राजधर्मश्च युगकारणत्वम्)

दण्डनीरत्यां यदा राजा सम्यक् कार्त्स्न्येन वर्तते । तदा कृतयुगं नाम कालसूृष्टं प्रवर्तते,जिस समय राजा दण्डनीतिका पूरा-पूरा एवं ठीक प्रयोग करता है, उस समय पृथ्वीपर पूर्णरूपसे सत्ययुगका आरम्भ हो जाता है। राजासे प्रभावित हुआ समय ही सत्ययुगकी सृष्टि कर देता है
Translation
Bhishma berkata: Apabila raja menegakkan daṇḍanīti dengan tepat dan sepenuhnya, maka pada saat itu juga, Kṛta Yuga (Satya Yuga)—zaman yang digerakkan oleh ciptaan Masa—mula berputar di bumi.
