एकेन च यथोत्थेयं सत्यत्वं मधुरा गिर: । उत्सवानां समाजानां क्रिया: केतनजास्तथा
ekena ca yathotthēyaṁ satyatvaṁ madhurā giraḥ | utsavānāṁ samājānāṁ kriyāḥ ketanajāstathā ||
Bhishma berkata: “Bagaimana seseorang, walau bersendirian, dapat bangkit menuju kemakmuran; keteguhan pada kebenaran; penggunaan tutur kata yang manis dan santun dalam perayaan serta perhimpunan; dan kelakuan yang wajar dalam urusan rumah tangga serta kewajipan sosial—semua perkara ini dihuraikan (di sini).”
भीष्म उवाच
Uplift and stability in life come from dharmic conduct: truthfulness, gentle and pleasing speech, and proper observance of social and household duties—even if one must act without support from others.
