Atithi-prāpti and the Brāhmaṇa’s Deliberation on Triadic Dharma (अतिथिप्राप्तिः धर्मत्रयविचारश्च)
प्रादुर्भावं गमिष्यामि तदा$5त्मज्ञानदैशिक: । एवमुक्त्वा हयशिरास्तत्रैवान्तरधीयत
prādurbhāvaṁ gamiṣyāmi tadātmjñāna-daiśikaḥ | evam uktvā hayaśirās tatraivāntaradhīyata ||
Vyāsa berkata: “Pada waktu itu Aku akan menzahirkan diri di hadapanmu sebagai guru rohani yang mengurniakan pengetahuan tentang Diri.” Setelah berkata demikian, Hayagrīva—Tuhan berkepala kuda—lenyap dari tempat itu juga.
व्यास उवाच
When duties and divine tasks become overwhelming, the remedy is not mere force but right understanding: guidance grounded in ātma-jñāna (self-knowledge) arrives to stabilize the mind and enable dharmic action.
Hayagrīva promises to manifest in the future as a teacher of self-knowledge when needed, and after giving this assurance he disappears on the spot; Vyāsa reports this speech.
