संध्यांशे समनुप्राप्ते त्रेताया द्वापरस्य च । अहं दाशरथी रामो भविष्यामि जगत्पति:,तदनन्तर जब त्रेता और द्वापरकी सन्ध्या उपस्थित होगी, उस समय मैं जगत्पति दशरथनन्दन रामके रूपमें अवतार लूँगा
sandhyāṁśe samanupprāpte tretāyā dvāparasya ca | ahaṁ dāśarathī rāmo bhaviṣyāmi jagatpatiḥ ||
Bhīṣma berkata: “Apabila tiba saat senja peralihan antara zaman Tretā dan Dvāpara, aku akan menjadi Rāma, putera Daśaratha—Tuan bagi seluruh jagat—dan mengambil penjelmaan pada ketika itu.”

The verse frames righteous restoration as cyclical: at critical transitions between world-ages (yuga-sandhi), a divinely empowered ruler appears to re-establish cosmic and social order (dharma).
Bhishma speaks of a future yuga-junction between Tretā and Dvāpara and declares that he will manifest as Rāma, Daśaratha’s son, described as jagatpati—indicating an incarnation associated with ideal kingship and dharma.
