अश्वशिरो-आख्यानम्

नूनं तयोरनुमते हृदि हच्छयचोदित: । महामेरोगिरि: शुड्भात्‌ प्रच्युतो गन्धमादनम्‌,निश्चय ही उन दोनोंकी इच्छाके अनुसार अपने हृदयमें अन्तर्यामीकी प्रेरणा होनेपर देवर्षि नारद महामेरु पर्वतके शिखरसे गन्धमादन पर्वतपर उतर पड़े

nūnaṁ tayor anumate hṛdi hṛcchayacoditaḥ | mahāmerogiriḥ śṛṅgāt pracyuto gandhamādanaṁ ||

Bhīṣma berkata: “Sesungguhnya, dengan persetujuan kedua-duanya, dan didorong dalam hatinya oleh Penguasa Batin, resi ilahi Nārada turun dari puncak Gunung Meru yang agung lalu tiba di Gunung Gandhamādana.”
