साहं मानप्रदानेन वागातिथ्येन चार्चिता । सुप्ता सुशरणं प्रीता श्वो गमिष्यामि मैथिल

Transliteration

sāhaṃ mānapradānena vāgātithyena cārcitā | suptā suśaraṇaṃ prītā śvo gamiṣyāmi maithila ||

Translation

Bhishma berkata: “Dengan anugerah penghormatanmu dan sambutan melalui keramahan kata-katamu yang mulia, aku telah dimuliakan dan berpuas hati. Setelah beristirahat dengan aman di bawah lindunganmu yang baik, wahai raja Mithila, esok aku akan berangkat dari sini.”
