सुवर्णष्ठीविनोपाख्यानम्
The Account of Suvarṇaṣṭhīvin
पृथ्वीनाथ! यदुवीर श्रीकृष्णने जो बातें तुम्हारे सामने कही हैं, उन्हींको मैंने उस शोकाकुल राजाको सुनाया ।। संजीवितश्चापि पुनर्वासवानुमते तदा । भवितव्यं तथा तच्च न तच्छक्यमतो<न्यथा,फिर इन्द्रकी अनुमतिसे उस बालकको जीवित भी कर दिया। उसकी वैसी ही होनहार थी। उसे कोई पलट नहीं सकता था
sañjīvitaś cāpi punar vāsavānumate tadā | bhavitavyaṃ tathā tac ca na tac chakyam ato 'nyathā ||
“Wahai tuan empunya bumi, kata-kata yang diucapkan oleh wira Yadu, Śrī Kṛṣṇa, di hadapan tuanku—kata-kata itulah yang aku sampaikan kepada raja yang dilanda dukacita itu. Kemudian, dengan keizinan Vāsava (Indra), kanak-kanak itu pun dihidupkan kembali. Namun apa yang telah ditakdirkan tetap berlaku demikian; maka ia tidak dapat dijadikan selainnya.”
