अव्यक्तकालमान-निर्णयः

Measures of Time from the Unmanifest; Creation, Elements, and the Primacy of Mind

युधिष्ठिरने पूछा--पितामह! संसारमें बहुत-से विद्वान्‌ सत्य, इन्द्रिय-संयम, क्षमा और प्रज्ञा (उत्तम बुद्धि)-की प्रशंसा करते हैं। इस विषयमें आपका कैसा मत है?,इस प्रकार श्रीमहाभारत शान्तिपर्वके अन्तर्गत मोक्षधर्मपर्वमें हंसगीताकी समाप्ति विषयक दो सौ निन्‍्यानबेवाँ अध्याय प्रा हुआ ॥/ २९९ ॥। (दाक्षिणात्य अधिक पाठके २ श्लोक मिलाकर कुल ४७ श्लोक हैं) ऑपन-माजल बछ। -्:डिडिअ त्रिशततमो<्ध्याय: सांख्य और योगका अन्तर बतलाते हुए योगमार्गके स्वरूप साधन, फल और प्रभावका वर्णन युधिछिर उवाच सांख्ये योगे च मे तात विशेषं वक्तुमरहसि । तव धर्मज्ञ सर्व हि विदितं कुरुसत्तम

Yudhiṣṭhira uvāca |

Sāṅkhye yoge ca me tāta viśeṣaṃ vaktum arhasi |

Tava dharmajña sarvaṃ hi viditaṃ Kurusattama ||

Yudhiṣṭhira berkata: “Wahai Pitāmaha yang mulia, jelaskanlah kepadaku perbezaan antara Sāṅkhya dan Yoga. Engkau, yang mengetahui dharma, memahami segala sesuatu—wahai yang terbaik dalam kalangan Kuru.”
