जानुभ्यामवनीं गत्वा दक्षो लब्ध्या भवाद्‌ वरम्‌ | नाम्नामष्टसहस्रेण स्तुतवान्‌ वृषभध्वजम्‌,महादेवजीसे वर पाकर दक्षने धरतीपर घुटने टेककर उन्हें प्रणाम किया और एक हजार आठ नामोंद्वारा उन भगवान्‌ वृषभध्वजका स्तवन किया

Transliteration

jānubhyām avanīṃ gatvā dakṣo labdhyā bhavād varam | nāmnām aṣṭasahasreṇa stutavān vṛṣabhadhvajam ||

Translation

Setelah memperoleh kurnia daripada Mahādeva, Dakṣa berlutut menyentuh bumi, menunduk menyembah, lalu memuji Tuhan yang berpanji Lembu (Vṛṣabhadhvaja) dengan lapan ribu nama suci.
