फिर तो दुन्दुभियाँ, जोर-जोरसे बजनेवाले शंख, ढोल और नगाड़े आदि सहस्रों बाजे बजाये जाने लगे ।। असुराणां तु सर्वेषां स्मृतिलोपो महानभूत् | मायानाशश्व बलवान् क्षणेन समपद्यत,समस्त असुरोंकी स्मरण-शक्तिका बड़ा भारी लोप हो गया। क्षणभरमें उनकी सारी मायाओंका पूर्णरूपसे विनाश हो गया
asurāṇāṃ tu sarveṣāṃ smṛtilopo mahān abhūt | māyānāśaś ca balavān kṣaṇena samapadyata ||
Lalu, di tengah gemuruh ribuan alat bunyi—gendang kettledrum, sangkakala (conch) yang ditiup lantang, gendang dan genderang perang besar—seluruh kaum Asura ditimpa kehilangan ingatan dan kewarasan yang hebat. Dalam sekelip mata, kekuatan seni tipu-daya mereka (māyā) runtuh, dan māyā itu musnah sama sekali.

Power grounded in deception and pride is unstable. When clarity and remembrance (smṛti) are lost, strength collapses; dharmic or higher forces can shatter māyā in an instant, showing that inner steadiness is more decisive than outward might.
A thunderous sounding of many war-instruments arises. At that moment the Asuras collectively suffer a great lapse of memory and composure, and their magical/illusory powers are suddenly destroyed.
