मोक्षधर्मः — स्नेहपाशच्छेदः

Mokṣa-dharma: Cutting the Bonds of Attachment

नित्यतृप्तः सुसंतुष्ट: प्रसन्नवदनेन्द्रिय: । विभीर्जप्यपरो मौनी वैराग्यं समुपाश्रित:

nityatṛptaḥ susantuṣṭaḥ prasannavadanendriyaḥ | vibhīr japyaparo maunī vairāgyaṃ samupāśritaḥ ||

Bhīṣma berkata: Seseorang hendaklah sentiasa berasa cukup dan puas sepenuhnya, menjaga wajah serta pancaindera agar tenang dan ceria. Jangan biarkan ketakutan mendapat ruang. Dengan tekun mengulang bunyi suci—seperti suku kata Oṃ—hendaklah ia menahan pertuturan, berdiam dalam kesunyian, dan berlindung pada vairāgya, yakni ketidaklekatan. Dalam bingkai etika ajaran Śānti, inilah disiplin batin yang menjadikan seseorang teguh, tidak memudaratkan, dan layak bagi pengetahuan yang lebih tinggi.
