पापात्म-धर्मात्म-लक्षणम् तथा निर्वेदेन मोक्षमार्गः | Marks of the Sinful and the Righteous; Dispassion (Nirveda) as a Path to Liberation

सहजं चिरकारित्वमतिप्रज्ञतया तव । सफल तत्‌ तथा तेस्तु भवाद्य चिरकारिक:,“अत्यन्त बुद्धिमान्‌ होनेके कारण तुझमें जो चिरकारिताका सहज गुण है, वह इस समय सफल हो। आज तू वास्तवमें चिरकारी बन

sahajaṃ cirakāritvam atiprajñatayā tava | saphalaṃ tat tathā te 'stu bhavādya cirakārikaḥ ||

Bhishma said: “Because you are exceedingly intelligent, you possess by nature the habit of deliberate, long-considered action. Let that very deliberateness bear fruit now. Today, truly become a ‘cirakārī’—one who acts only after due reflection.”
