कपिलगोसंवादे गृहस्थ-त्यागधर्मयोः प्रमाण्यविचारः

कदाचिद्‌ दिवसान्‌ पज्च समुत्पत्य विहड्भमा: । षछ्ेडहनि समाजम्मुर्न चाकम्पत जाजलि:,कभी-कभी वे विहंगम उड़कर पाँच-पाँच दिनतक बाहर ही रह जाते और छठे दिन वहाँ लौटते थे, तबतक भी जाजलि मुनि हिले-डुले नहीं

kadācid divasān pañca samutpatya vihaṅgamāḥ | ṣaṣṭhe 'hani samāgamya na cākampata jājaliḥ ||

Bhīṣma berkata: “Ada kalanya burung-burung itu terbang pergi dan tinggal di luar sehingga lima hari lamanya. Apabila mereka kembali pada hari keenam, resi Jājali tetap tidak bergerak sedikit pun—menunjukkan keteguhan yang tidak goyah dan ketabahan berdisiplin dalam tapa.”
