इति श्रीमहाभारते शान्तिपर्वणि मोक्षधर्मपर्वणि शुकानुप्रश्ने पञ्चपञ्चाशदधिकद्वधिशततमो< ध्याय:

Transliteration

iti śrīmahābhārate śāntiparvaṇi mokṣadharmaparvaṇi śukānupraśne pañcapañcāśad-adhika-dviśatatamo 'dhyāyaḥ

Translation

Demikianlah, dalam Śrī Mahābhārata, di dalam Śānti Parva—khususnya bahagian Mokṣa-dharma—berakhirlah bab ke-255, dalam konteks pertanyaan Śuka. Ini ialah kolofon penutup yang menandai tamatnya bab, bukan rangkap ajaran yang diucapkan dalam dialog.
