Tulādhāra’s Instruction to Jājali on Ahiṃsā and Abhaya-dāna

दीप्तानलनिभ: प्राह भगवान्‌ धूमवर्चसे । ततो5हमपि वक्ष्यामि भूय: पुत्र निदर्शनम्‌

dīptānalanibhaḥ prāha bhagavān dhūmavarcasaḥ | tato 'ham api vakṣyāmi bhūyaḥ putra nidarśanam, vatsa |

Bhīṣma berkata: “Yang Terpuji, bersinar seperti api yang menyala namun tampak seakan berwarna asap, telah berkata demikian. Maka, wahai anak yang dikasihi, aku juga akan menerangkan sekali lagi perumpamaan ini dan maksudnya. Dengarlah dengan penuh perhatian ajaran pencerahan-pertimbangan (viveka) yang telah mantap ini.”
