यथा मतानि सर्वाणि तथैतानि यथा तथा । कथितानि मया पुत्र भवन्ति न भवन्ति च,बेटा! सारे विभिन्न मत जैसे रहे हैं, वैसे ही मेरेद्वारा तुम्हारे समक्ष यथार्थरूपसे बताये गये हैं। जो इन मतोंका अनुसरण करते हैं; वे मुक्त हो जाते हैं, जो नहीं करते हैं, वे नहीं होते

yathā matāni sarvāṇi tathaitāni yathā tathā | kathitāni mayā putra bhavanti na bhavanti ca ||

Vyāsa berkata: “Sebagaimana adanya pelbagai doktrin itu, demikianlah telah aku bentangkan—tepat sebagaimana ia wujud, menurut caranya masing-masing, wahai anakku. Mereka yang hidup selaras dengan ajaran ini mencapai kesempurnaan (pembebasan); mereka yang tidak, tidak mencapainya.”
