Yoga-kṛtya (योककृत्य) — Vyāsa on Sense-Restraint, Obstacles, and Brahman-Realization
No single principle, however powerful, can generate creation in isolation; only the complete conjunction of the seven distinct factors yields the capacity to produce living beings. The verse emphasizes interdependence and coordinated causality.
Vyāsa explains a cosmological point: seven separate, differently potent principles remain incapable of producing progeny until they unite fully. This frames creation as a process requiring the coming-together of multiple tattvas.
