ब्राह्मणस्य पूर्वतरा वृत्तिः — The Earlier Ideal Conduct of a Brahmana

अयं स पुरुष: श्यामो लोकस्य दुरतिक्रम:
ayaṃ sa puruṣaḥ śyāmo lokasya duratikramaḥ
Bhīṣma berkata: “Inilah Dia, Sang Purusha yang berwajah gelap, yang tidak dapat dilangkaui oleh dunia—suatu kuasa yang tiada teratasi dan tiada terlanggar, di hadapan-Nya batas-batas biasa dan ukuran manusia menjadi sia-sia.”
