प्रलय-प्रक्रिया (Pralaya Process) — Guṇa-Withdrawal and Pratisaṃcara
“शतक्रतो! जब सूर्य एक स्थान अर्थात् ब्रह्मलोकमें ही स्थित होकर नीचेके सम्पूर्ण लोकोंको ताप देने लगेंगे, उस समय देवासुरसंग्राममें मैं तुम्हें अवश्य जीत लूँगा-” ।। शक्र उवाच ब्रह्मणो5स्मि समादिष्टो न हन्तव्यो भवानिति । तेन ते5हं बले वज्ं न विमुञ्चामि मूर्थनि,इन्द्रने कहा--बले! ब्रह्माजीने मुझे आज्ञा दी है कि तुम बलिका वध न करना; इसीलिये तुम्हारे मस्तकपर मैं अपना वज्र नहीं छोड़ रहा हूँ
śakra uvāca — brahmaṇo 'smi samādiṣṭo na hantavyo bhavān iti; tena te 'haṃ bale vajraṃ na vimuñcāmi mūrdhani.
Śakra (Indra) bersabda: “Aku telah diperintahkan oleh Brahmā bahawa engkau tidak boleh dibunuh. Maka, wahai Bala, aku tidak melepaskan vajra (petir)ku ke atas kepalamu.”
