Transliteration

Yudhiṣṭhira uvāca:

Yathā buddhyā mahīpālo bhraṣṭaśrī vicaren mahīm |

Kāladaṇḍa-viniṣpiṣṭas tan me brūhi pitāmaha ||

Translation

Yudhiṣṭhira berkata: “Wahai datuk, jelaskan kepadaku: bagaimana seorang raja, setelah kehilangan kekayaan dan seri kerajaannya, dapat mengembara di bumi dengan pengertian yang benar—sedangkan dia telah dihancurkan oleh tongkat Waktu?”
