ततो विष्णुर्महातेजा वाराहं रूपमास्थित: । अन्तर्भूमिं सम्प्रविश्य जगाम दितिजान्‌ प्रति,उधर महातेजस्वी भगवान्‌ विष्णु वाराहरूप धारण कर बड़े वेगसे भूमिके भीतर प्रविष्ट हुए और दैत्योंके पास जा पहुँचे

Transliteration

tato viṣṇur mahātejā vārāhaṃ rūpam āsthitaḥ | antarbhūmiṃ sampraviśya jagāma ditijān prati ||

Translation

Kemudian Viṣṇu yang maha bercahaya mengambil rupa Varāha, Sang Babi Hutan Ilahi. Baginda menyusup ke dalam perut bumi dan meluru menuju para raksasa keturunan Diti—tanda campur tangan Tuhan untuk memulihkan tertib kosmos tatkala kuasa pemusnah mengancam dunia.
