मनुरुवाच — इन्द्रिय-मनः-ज्ञान-क्रमः
Manu on the hierarchy of senses, mind, and knowledge
इति श्रीमहाभारते शान्तिपर्वणि मोक्षधर्मपर्वणि जापकोपाख्याने षण्णवत्यधिकशततमो< ध्याय:
iti śrīmahābhārate śāntiparvaṇi mokṣadharmaparvaṇi jāpakopākhyāne ṣaṇṇavatyadhikaśatatamo 'dhyāyaḥ
Demikianlah, dalam Śrī Mahābhārata, di dalam Śānti Parva—khususnya bahagian Mokṣa-dharma—berakhir bab yang dikenali sebagai kisah “Jāpaka”, iaitu bab ke-seratus sembilan puluh enam. (Ini ialah kolofon penutup bab, bukan bait naratif.)
