तदनन्तर काश्यपने इन्द्रदेवका पूजन किया और उनकी आज्ञा लेकर वे पुनः अपने घरको लौट गये ।। इति श्रीमहाभारते शान्तिपर्वणि मोक्षधर्मपर्वणि शृुगालकाश्यपसंवादे अशीत्यधिकशततमो<ध्याय:
tadanantaraṁ kāśyapena indradevakaḥ pūjitaḥ, tasya cājñāṁ gṛhītvā te punaḥ svagṛhaṁ pratyāgacchan. iti śrīmahābhārate śāntiparvaṇi mokṣadharmaparvaṇi śṛgālakāśyapasaṁvāde aśītyadhikaśatatamo 'dhyāyaḥ.
Selepas itu, Kaśyapa memuja Indradeva; dan setelah memperoleh perkenan baginda, mereka pun kembali sekali lagi ke rumah masing-masing. Demikian berakhir bab ke-180 (dikira sebagai bab ke-181) dalam Śānti Parva, bahagian Mokṣadharma, dalam dialog antara serigala-jakal dan Kaśyapa.
