अव्यक्त-मानस-सृष्टिवादः

Doctrine of Creation from the Unmanifest ‘Mānasa’

यदा संहरते कामान्‌ कूर्मोडज़ानीव सर्वश: । तदा>5>त्मज्योतिरात्मायमात्मन्येव प्रपश्यति,कछुआ जैसे अपने अड्ञोंकी सब ओरसे समेट लेता है, उसी प्रकार यह जीव जब अपनी सब कामनाओंका संकोच कर देता है तब यह अपने विशुद्ध अन्तःकरणमें ही स्वयं प्रकाशस्वरूप परमात्माका साक्षात्कार कर लेता है

yadā saṁharate kāmān kūrmo 'ṅgānīva sarvaśaḥ | tadā ātmajyotir ātmāyam ātmany eva prapaśyati ||

Sang Brāhmaṇa berkata: Apabila seseorang menarik balik segala keinginan sepenuhnya—seperti kura-kura menarik masuk anggota badannya dari setiap arah—maka diri ini, teguh dalam kejernihan batin, melihat secara langsung di dalam dirinya sendiri Sang Diri yang merupakan cahaya suci.
