असंतोषादिदोष-निरूपणम्
On the Faults of Discontent and the Discipline of Detachment
यदा भूतपृथग्भावमेकस्थमनुपश्यति । तत एव च विस्तार ब्रह्म सम्पद्यते तदा,जब पुरुष प्राणियोंकी पृथक्-पृथक् सत्ताको एकमात्र परमात्मामें ही स्थित देखता है और उस परमात्मासे ही सम्पूर्ण भूतोंका विस्तार हुआ मानता है, उस समय वह सच्चिदानन्दघन ब्रह्मको प्राप्त होता है
yadā bhūta-pṛthag-bhāvam ekastham anupaśyati | tata eva ca vistāraṁ brahma sampadyate tadā ||
Yudhiṣṭhira berkata: Apabila seseorang benar-benar melihat bahawa kewujudan makhluk yang tampak berasingan itu sebenarnya bernaung dalam satu Diri Tertinggi yang tunggal, dan memahami bahawa seluruh keluasan makhluk berkembang daripada Hakikat itu sendiri, maka pada saat itulah dia mencapai Brahman—hakikat sat-cit-ānanda, wujud, kesedaran, dan kebahagiaan murni.
युधिछिर उवाच
Liberation arises from right vision: recognizing that the apparent multiplicity of beings is grounded in one Supreme Reality, and that all manifestation proceeds from that One. This insight undermines attachment, hatred, and pride, supporting dharmic conduct rooted in equality and compassion.
In the Śānti Parva’s instruction on peace and higher wisdom, Yudhiṣṭhira voices a teaching on spiritual realization: the seeker who perceives all beings as established in the One and as emanating from it reaches Brahman.
