कपोती-विलापः स्वर्गसंयोगश्च
The Dove’s Lament and Celestial Reunion
अथाभवत् क्षणेनैव वियद् विमलतारकम् | महत्सर इवोत्फुल्लं॑ कुमुदच्छुरितोदकम्,तदनन्तर एक ही क्षणमें आकाशके बादल फट गये, निर्मल तारे चमक उठे, मानो खिले हुए कुमुद-पुष्पोंसे सुशोभित जलवाला कोई विशाल सरोवर प्रकाशित हो रहा हो
athābhavat kṣaṇenaiva viyad vimalatārakam | mahatsara ivotphullaṁ kumudacchuritodakam ||
Bhīṣma berkata: “Kemudian, dalam sekelip mata, langit menjadi cerah dan bertabur bintang-bintang yang murni lagi bersinar—bagaikan sebuah tasik luas yang tiba-tiba tersingkap, airnya indah bercahaya dihiasi teratai putih (kumuda) yang mekar penuh.”
