कपोती-विलापः स्वर्गसंयोगश्च

The Dove’s Lament and Celestial Reunion

नैव तस्य सुद्गत्‌ वश्रिन्न सम्बन्धी न बान्धवा: । स हि तैः सम्परित्यक्तस्तेन रौद्रेण कर्मणा,उसके न कोई सुहृद, न सम्बन्धी और न भाई-बन्धु ही थे। उसके भयानक क्रूर-कर्मके कारण सबने उसे त्याग दिया था

naiva tasya suhṛd vaśrinn sambandhī na bāndhavāḥ | sa hi taiḥ samparityaktas tena raudreṇa karmaṇā ||

Bhishma berkata: “Sesungguhnya dia tidak mempunyai sahabat yang menginginkan kebaikannya, tiada kaum kerabat, dan tiada sanak saudara yang berpihak kepadanya. Kerana jalan perbuatannya yang ganas dan kejam itu, dia telah ditinggalkan sepenuhnya oleh mereka semua.”
