Dasyu-maryādā and Buddhi-guided Rāja-nīti (दस्युमर्यादा तथा बुद्धिप्रधान-राजनीति)

यत्‌ कृतं ते मया राजंस्त्वया च मम यत्‌ कृतम्‌ । न तद्‌ वर्षशतै: शक्‍यं व्यपोहितुमरिंदम

yat kṛtaṃ te mayā rājan tvayā ca mama yat kṛtam | na tad varṣaśataiḥ śakyaṃ vyapohitum arindama ||

Brahmadatta berkata: “Wahai Raja, apa yang telah aku lakukan terhadapmu, dan apa yang telah engkau lakukan terhadapku—luka saling membalas ini tidak mungkin dipadamkan atau dilupakan walau beratus-ratus tahun, wahai penunduk musuh.”
