माजरि व्रीडितो भूत्वा मूषिकं वाक्यमब्रवीत्,पलितने जब इस प्रकार स्पष्टरूपसे कड़ी फटकार सुनायी, तब बिलावने लज्जित होकर पुनः उस चूहेसे इस प्रकार कहा
Mārjāri vrīḍito bhūtvā mūṣikaṁ vākyam abravīt.
Bhishma berkata: Apabila kucing itu ditegur secara terbuka dan keras, ia menjadi malu; lalu setelah menenangkan diri, ia berbicara lagi kepada tikus itu.
