Sandhi–Vigraha in Āpada: The Mouse and the Cat (सन्धिविग्रहापदि—मूषकमार्जारसंवादः)

कायव्य: कर्मणा तेन महतीं सिद्धिमाप्तवान्‌ । साधूनामाचरन्‌ क्षेमं दस्यून्‌ पापान्निवर्तयम्‌,कायव्यने उस पुण्यकर्मसे बड़ी भारी सिद्धि प्राप्त कर ली; क्योंकि उसने साधु पुरुषोंका कल्याण करते हुए डाकुओंको पापसे बचा लिया था

kāyavyaḥ karmaṇā tena mahatīṃ siddhim āptavān | sādhūnām ācaran kṣemaṃ dasyūn pāpān nivartayan ||

Bhishma berkata: “Dengan perbuatan itu, Kāyavya mencapai siddhi yang amat besar. Kerana sambil memelihara kesejahteraan dan keamanan orang-orang saleh, dia juga memalingkan para penyamun yang berdosa daripada kejahatan.”
