Vāyu berkata: “Tatkala mereka pergi berburu lalu menuju pertapaan Tṛṇabindu, ingatlah juga bagaimana Abhimanyu yang masih muda—baru seorang anak—berdiri seorang diri di medan perang melawan ramai.”

The verse highlights exemplary valor and steadfastness: even youth does not excuse abandoning one’s duty in a righteous cause, and true heroism is measured by resolve and adherence to kṣatriya-dharma even when outnumbered.
Vāyu recalls notable episodes as moral and narrative exemplars—mentioning a hunt and a visit to Tṛṇabindu’s hermitage, and especially pointing to the famous scene of Abhimanyu, still young, facing many warriors alone in battle.
