Gadā-yuddhe Bhīma–Duryodhanayoḥ Tumulaḥ Saṃprahāraḥ

राज्ञश्न धृतराष्ट्रस्य तथा त्वमपि चात्मन:

rājñaś ca dhṛtarāṣṭrasya tathā tvam api cātmanaḥ

“(Bertindaklah) demi Raja Dhṛtarāṣṭra juga—dan engkau sendiri, demi kepentinganmu.” Sañjaya membingkai nasihat itu sebagai kewajipan terhadap raja yang buta dan terhadap diri sendiri, menyiratkan bahawa tindakan yang benar pada saat kehancuran menjaga bukan sahaja kesejahteraan pemerintah, tetapi juga integriti dan pertanggungjawaban seseorang pada masa hadapan.
