जैगीषव्ये तपश्चास्य प्रशंसन्ति तपस्विन: । तब बृहस्पति आदि सब देवता और तपस्वी वहाँ आकर जैगीषव्य मुनिके तपकी प्रशंसा करने लगे

jaigīṣavye tapaś cāsya praśaṃsanti tapasvinaḥ |

Vaiśaṃpāyana berkata: Para pertapa di situ memuji tapa Jaigīṣavya; lalu Bṛhaspati dan para dewa yang lain, bersama para resi, datang ke tempat itu dan mengagungkan tapas sang muni—menegaskan bahawa disiplin rohani yang teguh dan suci layak dihormati bahkan oleh yang ilahi.
