सो<5चिन्तयन्महा भागो जैगीषव्यस्य देवल:

so 'cintayan mahābhāgo jaigīṣavyasya devalaḥ

Vaiśampāyana berkata: Devala yang termasyhur, setelah merenung sedalam-dalamnya tentang Jaigīṣavya, berfikir dalam hati—akalnya tertumpu pada apa yang wajar dilakukan dalam keadaan itu dan jalan manakah yang paling selaras dengan dharma.
