ख्याता दहदहा चैव तथा धमधमा नृप । खण्डखण्डा च राजेन्द्र पूषणा मणिकुट्टिका
khyātā dahadahā caiva tathā dhamadhamā nṛpa | khaṇḍakhaṇḍā ca rājendra pūṣaṇā maṇikuṭṭikā ||
Vaiśampāyana berkata: “Wahai raja, ada juga (senjata dan peluru) yang masyhur dengan nama Dahadahā dan Dhamadhamā; dan, wahai tuan segala raja, (yang lain) bernama Khaṇḍakhaṇḍā, Pūṣaṇā, dan Maṇikuṭṭikā.” Dalam latar perang yang muram, penceritaan ini menghitung alat-alat menggerunkan yang namanya sendiri membayangkan pembakaran, hentaman, dan pemecahan—menegaskan bahawa apabila keganasan dilepaskan, ia berlipat ganda bentuknya dan menambah derita.
वैशम्पायन उवाच
