आराध्य पशुभर्तारें महादेवं जगत्पतिम्‌ | तां देवीं मोक्षयामासु: सरिच्छेष्ठां सरस्वतीम्‌

ārādhya paśubhartāraṃ mahādevaṃ jagatpatim | tāṃ devīṃ mokṣayāmāsuḥ sariccheṣṭhāṃ sarasvatīm

Vaiśampāyana berkata: Setelah memuja Mahādeva dengan sewajarnya—Paśupati, tuan segala makhluk dan penguasa alam—mereka pun mulai melepaskan dewi Sarasvatī, yang utama antara sungai-sungai, daripada belenggu itu.
