ते सर्वे ह्ुशनं त्यक्त्वा फलं तस्य वनस्पते:
te sarve huśanaṃ tyaktvā phalaṃ tasya vanaspateḥ
Vaiśampāyana berkata: Mereka semua meninggalkan makanan itu, lalu mengambil buah daripada pokok tersebut untuk dimakan.
वैशम्पायन उवाच
Even under pressure, one should exercise discernment and restraint—rejecting what is improper or harmful and accepting what is suitable for sustaining life.
A group collectively abandons certain food and instead takes the fruit of a tree, indicating a shift to a more acceptable or viable means of nourishment in their situation.
