तानापतत एवाशु हतशेषाद्‌ बलार्णवात्‌

tān āpatata evāśu hataśeṣād balārṇavāt

Sañjaya berkata: Para pahlawan itu segera menyerbu, muncul dari bala tentera yang laksana lautan—kini tinggal sisa setelah pembantaian—namun tetap menekan mara walau medan telah hancur.
