Escalation of Wagers and Shakuni’s Repeated Declarations of Victory

सो$5भिपत्य तदध्वानमासाद्य नृपते: पुरम्‌ प्रविवेश महाबुद्धि: पूज्यमानो द्विजातिभि:,महाबुद्धिमान्‌ विदुरजी उस मार्गको तय करके राजा युधिष्ठिरकी राजधानीमें जा पहुँचे और वहाँ द्विजातियोंसे सम्मानित होकर उन्होंने नगरमें प्रवेश किया

so 'bhipatya tad-adhvānam āsādya nṛpateḥ puram | praviveśa mahābuddhiḥ pūjyamāno dvijātibhiḥ ||

Vaiśampāyana berkata: Setelah segera menempuh perjalanan itu dan tiba di kota raja, Vidura yang amat bijaksana memasuki ibu kota, dihormati dan disambut dengan takzim oleh golongan dwijati (yang “dua kali lahir”).
