Vidura’s Censure of Dicing and Warning to the Kurus

दुर्योधन उवाच व्यपनेष्यति ते बुद्धि विदुरो मुक्तसंशय: । पाण्डवानां हिते युक्तो न तथा मम कौरव,दुर्योधन बोला--पिताजी! विदुर सब प्रकारसे संशयरहित हैं। वे आपकी बुद्धिको जूएके निश्चयसे हटा देंगे। कुरुनन्दन! वे जैसे पाण्डवोंके हितमें संलग्न रहते हैं, वैसे मेरे हितमें नहीं

duryodhana uvāca vyapaneṣyati te buddhiṁ viduro mukta-saṁśayaḥ | pāṇḍavānāṁ hite yukto na tathā mama kaurava ||

Duryodhana berkata: “Vidura, yang bebas daripada segala keraguan, akan memalingkan fikiran ayahanda daripada tekad ini. Wahai Kaurava, dia menumpukan dirinya demi kebajikan para Pāṇḍava, tetapi tidak demikian terhadapku.”
