आजानेयान् हयाज्छीघ्रानादायानिलरंहस: । बलिं च कृत्स्नमादाय द्वारि तिष्ठति वारित:,प्राग्ज्योतिषपुरके अधिपति तथा म्लेच्छोंके स्वामी शूरवीर एवं बलवान् महारथी राजा भगदत्त यवनोंके साथ पधारे थे और वायुके समान वेगवाले अच्छी जातिके शीघ्रगामी घोड़े तथा सब प्रकारकी भेंट-सामग्री लेकर राजद्दवारपर खड़े थे। (अधिक भीड़के कारण) उनका प्रवेश भी रोक दिया गया था
ājāneyān hayāc chīghrān ādāyānila-raṁhasaḥ | baliṁ ca kṛtsnam ādāya dvāri tiṣṭhati vāritaḥ ||
Duryodhana berkata: “Dengan membawa kuda Ajāneya yang pantas, sepantas angin, serta ufti yang lengkap, dia tetap berdiri di pintu istana, ditahan (daripada masuk).”
