Śiśupāla’s Protest Against the Arghya to Kṛṣṇa (शिशुपाल-आक्षेपः)
द्रष्टकामा: सभां चैव धर्मराजं च पाण्डवम् | दिग्भ्य: सर्वे समापेतु: क्षत्रियास्तत्र भारत
draṣṭakāmāḥ sabhāṃ caiva dharmarājaṃ ca pāṇḍavam | digbhyaḥ sarve samāpetuḥ kṣatriyās tatra bhārata ||
Dengan hasrat untuk menyaksikan balairung perhimpunan diraja dan juga Dharmarāja Yudhiṣṭhira, sang Pāṇḍava, para kṣatriya berhimpun di sana dari segala penjuru, wahai Bhārata. Pemandangan itu menegaskan bahawa kemasyhuran dan pemerintahan yang berlandaskan dharma mampu menarik para raja dan pahlawan ke lingkungan sebuah istana yang termasyhur.
वैशम्पायन उवाच
A righteous king and a well-ordered court attract people through trust and renown; dharmic governance becomes a centripetal force that draws rulers and warriors to witness, assess, and participate in a moral-political center.
Warrior-kings (kṣatriyas) arrive from every direction to see the famed assembly hall and to meet Dharmarāja Yudhiṣṭhira, indicating a major gathering at the Pāṇḍava court.
