The verse highlights the ideal of dharmic order expressed through properly conducted Vedic sacrifice: ritual correctness and abundance are portrayed as signs of a well-founded sacred polity, where prosperity is subordinated to sanctioned, śrauta discipline.
Vaiśampāyana, narrating to Janamejaya, describes a place or occasion marked by grand śrauta performances—one hundred principal sacrifices—distinguished by extraordinary opulence such as jewel-made sacrificial posts and golden ritual structures.
