नायं पापो मया कृष्ण युक्त: स्यादनुरोधितुम् । प्राणेन यदुशार्टूल बद्धकक्षेण वाससा,“यदुश्रेष्ठ श्रीकृष्ण! जरासंधने लंगोटसे अपनी कमर खूब कस ली है। यह पापी प्राण रहते मेरे वशमें आनेवाला नहीं जान पड़ता”
naayaṃ pāpo mayā kṛṣṇa yuktaḥ syād anurodhitum | prāṇena yaduśārṭūla baddhakakṣeṇa vāsasā ||
“Wahai Kṛṣṇa, si durjana ini tampaknya tidak dapat aku kekang atau aku pujuk. Wahai harimau kaum Yadu, dia telah mengikat kain pinggangnya dengan ketat, seolah-olah bertekad bertarung hingga nafas terakhir—selagi nyawa masih ada, dia tidak akan tunduk di bawah kuasaku.”
