देहांश्व॒ भोगांश्व॒ परिच्छदांश्व॒ त्यक्त्वा मनोज्ञानि सुखानि चैव । स्वधर्मनिष्ठां महतीमवाप्य व्याप्याशु लोकान्‌ यशसा गतास्ते

dehāṁś ca bhogāṁś ca paricchadāṁś ca tyaktvā manojñāni sukhāni caiva | svadharmaniṣṭhāṁ mahatīm avāpya vyāpyāśu lokān yaśasā gatās te ||

Dengan meninggalkan tubuh, kenikmatan, dan segala milik, bahkan kesenangan yang memikat hati pun ditinggalkan, mereka mencapai keteguhan agung dalam dharma mereka sendiri. Setelah dengan cepat memenuhi dunia-dunia dengan kemasyhuran, mereka pun berlalu—dimuliakan oleh nama harum—kerana teguh berpegang pada kewajipan yang benar.
